SuSChemE-SUSTENS2 cordially invites all authors to Submit their Abstracts (up to 500 words) to get access to the conference and present their work as an oral or poster presentation.
Optionally, the authors of Accepted Abstract may submit an extended version of their work as a Conference Paper (exactly 4 pages), which will be published (if accepted) in the Conference Proceedings.
Authors may submit full-length manuscripts to Special Issues of the SuSChemE-SUSTENS2 Conference, supported by Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research (ACS, IF 3.9) and the Biochemical Engineering Journal (Elsevier, IF 3.8). Submission will open at the end of the conference.
SuSChemE-SUSTENS2 invites all authors to submit a 500-word abstract through the Conference Submissions Portal. All abstracts must be written in English and will be evaluated by the Conference Chairs.
Conference Paper submission has opened!
The authors must use the Word or LaTeX templates and follow guidelines for authors for the preparation of the Conference Paper (exactly 4 pages).
The Conference Paper will be published in the indexed IOP Conference proceedings (DOI & ISSN) following a single blind peer-preview process.
The papers will be evaluated based on Technical, Quality and Presentation Criteria.
The review response will include one of the following results and respective actions:
The Conference Chairs will take into account the reviewers’ comments and recommendations and will make the decision before sending the review response to the authors.
A final round of papers’ review will be performed by IOP proceedings editors making the final decision if accepted papers will be published in the IOP Conference Proceedings.
If a Conference Paper has been selected for publication in the Conference Proceedings, then the associated Accepted Abstract will not be published in the Book of Abstracts to avoid double publication. Plagiarism detection software will be used for plagiarism analysis, excluding references and standard methodological text.

Journal of Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research
Aims & Scope: Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, with variations in title and format, has been published since 1909 by the American Chemical Society. Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research is a weekly publication that reports industrial and academic research in the broad fields of applied chemistry and chemical and biomolecular/biochemical engineering. Papers may be based on work that is experimental, computational, or theoretical, mathematical or descriptive, and chemical, physical, or biological. Research that combines multiple approaches (e.g., experimentation with validation by modeling or vice versa) are particularly welcome. We seek reports of significant fundamental research advances that draw on core areas such as, but not limited to: Thermodynamics, Transport phenomena, Chemical reaction kinetics and engineering, Catalysis, Separations, and process systems engineering. We also welcome reports on significant advances in product research and development that use chemical and engineering principles to improve or create: New catalysts, Plastics,Sorbents, Membranes, Functional materials.

Biochemical Engineering Journal
Aims & Scope: The Biochemical Engineering Journal aims to promote progress in the crucial chemical engineering aspects of the development of biological processes associated with everything from raw materials preparation to product recovery relevant to industries as diverse as medical/healthcare, industrial biotechnology, and environmental biotechnology. The Journal welcomes full length original research papers, short communications, and review papers in the following research fields: Biocatalysis and kinetics, Biosensors and Biodevices, Bioseparations, Environmental Bioengineering, Bioreactor Systems, Bioresources and Biorefinery Engineering, Industrial Biotechnology, Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering, Cell Culture Engineering, Cell Therapies and Stem Cells, Metabolic Engineering, Systems and Synthetic Biology, Protein Engineering.

Special Issue on Sustainable Chemistry for Climate Action
Aims & Scope: Sustainable Chemistry for Climate Action will cover the issues affecting climate and the environment and the pivotal role that sustainable chemistry has to play in solving them. Issues related to climate are complex, involving scientific, technical, social and industrial aspects. For example, the implementation of a decarbonised society or mitigation of climate changes involve concerted and cooperative action from different faces of society-should involve policy makers, social scientists, technocrats, scientific and engineering experts and so on. Sustainable Chemistry for Climate Action will primarily focus on the sustainable chemistry solutions related to SDG13. It will not only accept scientific articles; the journal will also be open for perspectives or policy articles from the wide audience.
