“From Data to Decisions: AI Applications and Twinning in Process Systems Engineering”
This interactive workshop showcases results from Horizon Europe project Bioindustry 4.0 with four presentations in the form of pitches that highlight solutions across several critical points:
- AI-assisted process control for industrial bioreactors,
- kinetic modelling for strains optimisation,
- automated workflow orchestration, and
- modelling and quantification of spectroscopic data.
The pitches demonstrate how results are transformed into practical services for industry as well as academic stakeholders. Participants will learn about new applications and approaches in process systems engineering and understand how these tools can support data-driven decision-making. We invite participants to share insights from their real industrial environments, and we welcome their feedback to guide further development.
